Social class

Each country has the different social class, looks like Britain to divide into 3 social classes, the different social stratum has their different life style. It depend on their job, income education house area and upbringing. In UK the 3 class each called working class , middle class and upper class.

Last British class we watch a video about a urban girl learn how to be a girl life in upper class, and The dramatic team has arranged about 4 week-long raise time for her, how studies to speak, what kind of station posture appears more appropriate, how to dress up itself to look like an appropriate woman. And it has a final test which takes part in a upper class party, but from the video she have nice outlook and how to looks like upper-class, but when she have some communication with men, she does not know what can she say, because they really did not life in same class. But she still very happy learn so much .

'Posh' means in this sentence 'very superior' 'high quality'. The word is often used in a derogatory way when you describe somebody's way of speaking as 'posh' since then you are ridiculing them for speaking in an affected way.

SOPRT

This week from the British study class i knew lots of information about the sport season of UK, it means different time of one year have many different sports game would celebrated.

In UK, different time got different kinds of sports games, like in February it would had rugby union ,five nations joined that game England ,France ,Ireland, Scotland and Wales.it really a fantastic for rugby fans. Then at May the Cup Final football game celebrated, personal it is my favorite game. And everyone always know British love football very much.

In China, Table tennis is a traditional sport game; everyone will play no matter how old the people are. I think table tennis is the most popular sport game in China. And other sport game is Basketball, it some many students like play in school, boys always think if plays well of basketball, girls will take more focus on .And some many people in my country like watch sports news from news or TV.

In 2008, we celebrate the Olympic game in BEIJIN that is the first time we celebrate a sport game so perfect, we show the a new China to the world .The famous national stadium is Nest.

Crime is Makes violates the law should receive the criminal law punishment the matter(Mao ,1991) Crime has become one of the most serious problem today, in the world. One of the most serious problems is murder.In China, the death penalty as punishment for many crimes, including murder and terrorism. However, I think that the death penalty should not exist. Because most criminals is in the spirit of extreme panic or accident caused the cases, death. Besides, there are many ways to solve this problem, the government's responsibility is to invest a lot of manpower material resources lies in education criminals, or allow them to go to is exile criminals for this social labor do more contribution, let them understand all life for this society are really the meaning of existence.
Marijuana is a harm oneself body mass society with a kind of irresponsible behavior, marijuana or heroin for next-generation youth or kids will cause great influence. Because marijuana is a kind of let a person lose reason more exciting things, it makes the percentage of crimes increases. All marijuana is must be banned, government and the public are pounding and prohibited to sell, marijuana and marijuana people want more severe punishment.

Welfare

   Today i learn some information about welfare in UK,i think that is very important system to help people to solve their problems.And give them warm to enjoy life.
   Firstly ,the benefits system is the most straightforward way to help some people who can not find job,or family income can not enough for their basic needs,sovle some basic problems,though some different ways,almostly paid by department of socal security.It same as my country,people can not find job ,so the goverment will give them 300 yuan per morth to help them to face to problem untill they find job can keep themself eatting and living.
  Secondly,in UK women retire at 60 and men at 65.but in China ,men retire at 55,men can job untill their 60,it have a litter different(wei,2001)
  Thirdly,In UK it have a wade range of other benefits exist, like child benefit,sickness benefits,maternity benefit and death grants.in my contry the welfare rangge is same ,but not in every side of  my conutry.it depend on the rurel economic,in few place the family have nice welfare ,their children go to shcool the fee is free.

TV

  Television (TV) is a telecommunication medium for transmitting and receiving moving images that can be monochromatic (shades of grey) or multicolored(Albert Abramson,2001)NOW watching TV became the people with the important entertainment activities in this time.And i like watch too,beacuse when we watch TV we can know some new about what happen today,and can learn many knowledge.today i have seen some channels programmes at 7 pm.On BBC One i seen a programme called 'Countryfile',this programe about 60 minutes,that is a trip progame,Ellie Harrison is a main role,she take us to Welsh coast, to look back at some of the islands featured on Countryfile in the last year .Then i turn to the BBC Two,it has a programme called'Richard Hammond's Engineering Connections',It show us Richard Hammond revealed the surprising engineering joining formula 1 car behind.I like the programme,beacuse i like cars,and some thing about cars.In UK have a very popular channel is Channel 4,at 7 pm it have a programme 'Dine with me',The programme told people how to make a nice cook,and we can learn some different kinds of food from different conutries.That is a Housewife favorite programs.

 Last week i got some information from the British study.
 British school students aged 5 to 14 years of age entered the stage of secondary education, and need to learn two years of GCSE courses. GCSE course aims to train qualified citizens, a wide range of course, hope that a more extensive basis for students, British students are usually about 12 to choose the GCSE science curriculum. 16 (GCSE courses completed), students have a wide choice, I hope to receive vocational higher education students generally choose to study two-year NVQ course, wish to receive academic students in higher education choose to study A-level courses for two years . UK undergraduate study time is usually 3 years, pre-university education for 13 years, A-level part of the course is equivalent to other countries to learn the contents of the freshman year. The original 16-year-old British student's education before (GCSE) is compulsory, the British Government to encourage students to continue learning and recently established to extend compulsory education to 17 years.
 However, in our country have big different ,we often went to secondary school when we 6 years old ,we have 9 years Compulsory education,then we depend on our marks choosen the diffrent high school,accept different education, someone could learn some technical. when we 18, we join in the university text ,then choosen diffrent university.That is a long way .
l think we have more different mind with UK students in same age, beacuse we have different education experenice,China education more pay attention to students everthing imporve,but in UK and most westen counties,attention to student the development of expertise.

  Last class we learn about the uk parliament ,so l will writing some words in here to rember this konwledges.
  The British parliament have two parliament house one called'house of commons' and the other one is 'house of  lord'.And the two house have different work .nowaday, the house of commons have more power than house of  lord .and diferent place have different constituency ,in UK there are 659 constituencies . in that 529 in the England ,72 in Scotland,40 in Wales ,and 18 in Northorn Lreland . the size is diffenrent some place number large ,and some is small.
  The Pirme Minister party forms the government after a gneral election.and  from this class we konw the 'first past the post' it means the person has the most votes wins,even if they have only one vote more than next guy.

    Today,we learn about some information of  The European Union , that is very requisite for us know about this country.

Planning travel to London

My group has three persons. Jason, Jim and me.
The plan to tavels' timetable:

7:30 get up and have a breakfast

8:00 arrived at the Cardiff coach station

9:00 set out to the London

11:45 arrived at the Victoria coach station

12:00 we take the underground to the St.James’s Park by circle line.

Arrived at the St.James’s Park  we can visit the Westminster abbey, Buckingham Palace, parliament house, Big Ben and so on.

15:00 we take the underground to the waterloo by the northern line

Arrived at the waterloo we can visit the London Eye.

16:00 we take the underground to the Leicester Square

In the Leicester Square there have a Chinatown, we can go to there for have a dinner.

16:50 go back to the Victoria coach station and waiting for the coach

17:00 take the coach go back.

20:00 we have finish one day travel.

 

 

   That is a fantastic weekend for us travel in London.We have a nice day,and we have a perfect plan ,we have a lots of time to enjoy the travel ,We are set out by coach at 9 o'clock. arriving at the Victoria coach station about 12 o'clock and take the underground to St James's Park.The most famous building in British that is Big Ben . l think that is amzing . that is too powerful buiding , and too close to me,Finaly, we are going to last stop Chinesetown in the Leicester Square that have an Chinese food's dinner at 16 o'clock. At 16.50, we will go back to the Victoria coach station and take the coach go home. In the end,I hope we have a pleasant day in London. If I have a chance I will come back again.

      This time l will talk about some information about people live in UK.
      Firstly,someone konws that have four nations in the UK, Wales,Scotland,England and Lreland.But a part of people did not konw the difference between the four nations,They had four different flags Endland used St George's Cross,Wales used Dragon of Cadwallader ,then Scotland used St Andrew's Cross and Lion rampant,Lreland used St Patrick's Cross and  Republic of  Lreland to be thier flags.And in that class l getting a new information that is England luck plant is Rose , Wales is Leek and Daffodil ,And the famous plant in Scotland is Thistle , Shamrock is the country plant for Lreland.
      Then ,let us talk about their languages , often  they will speak english .But have some place  some of them speak Celtic languages , Including Wales and highland Scotland people.And Lrish Gaelic, Scottish Gaelic and Welsh. People in the Germanic areas spoke Germanic dialects.
      They have diffenrent in their clothes ,the kilt ,Scottish man like tartan pattern worn.but in other place of UK ,man  did not like wear like this .And from the name we can kown where are they from ,'Mac'and 'Mc' in surnamesis always Scottish or Lrish ,if  the surnames have a large number, like Davis ,Evans,Jones,Lloyd and so on that is Welsh.But the most common surname in UK is 'Smith'.
      In my country ,people often call people live in UK 'ying guo ren'.That means English .l think in UK have many other nation people ,Chinese and Indian is the most of them.

The frist day for the british studie class

   Frist of all, l do not consider what write way to write this note，it is just a feeling in the british studies.So in there l  just write some thing about what did l  learn from the class.
   This class let us konw culture of  british and the local slang，so l konw same new words that can not learning in my country. For example，the local people often said an umbrella is plonk ,that is may be long 'habit.But most important thing in that class l konw the map of British Isles ,and some famous city's position in the map,it very important konwlege for me ,l think l have to find out this ,because l will lving here more than 3 years that is fantastic experience .
   In the end , l hope l can learning more konwlege in the next class .
